Early in the fall of 2010, Dan and Pam Marsh commissioned an original artwork from world renowned artist Rufus Snoddy. On March 18th, 2011 the finished work was unveiled at a special reception and exhibit at Red Ginger. "Red Ginger" by Rufus Snoddy is a magnificent 8'x4' mixed media assemblage of acrylic on canvas, with sculptural elements that is now permanently located in the restaurant's prominent commons area.

"The piece really captures the energy and dynamics of the restaurant and what we do here" says Red Ginger's chef and owner Dan Marsh. "I love it, I absolutely love it!"

Rufus Snoddy lives and works in Suttons Bay, Michigan. Aside from Michigan, his works have been shown in New York, Philadelphia, Santa Fe & Paris.
